Theater in Buenos Aires , Musical: Manzi, la vida en orsai
The show played by Jorge Suárez and Julia Calvo
The show played by Jorge Suárez and Julia Calvo arrives to the
Street Corrientes. Romance, tangos and esplín, capable for all public.
Homero Manzi was much more than
a lyrics maker of tangos. It is well that
they were his tangos that that him
they installed in a luck of legendary pedestal.
But the man also knew how to be a journalist
of the good ones, poet, man of the
politics and radio screenwriter and of cinema. "The
war gaucho" "Their best student" "Pampas
barbarian" and "The last payador" (that also
it directed, next to great Ralph Pappier)
they were some of their magnificent works
film.
Of all these multiple facets, "Manzi,
the life in orsai" choose to count the less ones
well-known: concentrates on the private life
of Homero, especially in the pasional
relationship that united it to Nelly Omar, the wonderful
female singer of tangos.
Through a sustained game of evocations
for the music, the directress Betty
Gambartes impacts in the heart of those
spectators, appealing to chosen moments
of the poet's "secret" life,
illustrating each passage with their tangos
memorable.
Jorge Suárez composes Homero. It completes
a great work, amplified by their performance
musical that generates a pleasant one
surprise: the man has a hefty voice,
virile, and he knows how to plant it with elegance.
Néstor Caniglia accompanies him efficiently,
recreating their ghosts of the past (Catulín,
Troilo, Santoro). But the actor that is taken
all the palms is Julia Calvo. Their Nelly
it is incredible. With a beautiful voice and witnesses captivating in the scenario, the
actress convinces, she has a good time and you fall in love. Its
version of "perhaps it will be their voice" she makes sprout
moved tears and applause that
leave the heart. To hear of their lips those
dear songs are simply touching.
There is a beautiful setting in scene and a
design of lights that it enhances that mythical air
of the evoked character. To see this work is
to take place, all together, the existence of a
irrepetible man .
